Dytran Instruments Model 3213M6 Triaxial Accelerometer

Dytran Instruments, Inc. has released a new industrial accelerometer, the Model 3213M6. This rugged, triaxial accelerometer uses pizeoceramic shear technology coupled with 2-wire internal IEPE electronics. Although not limited to this application, the model 3213M6 was designed specifically for industrial vibration monitoring.

The unit mounts with a centrally located thru 10-32 captive mounting screw. It weighs 59 grams and is packaged in a rugged, anodized aluminum housing. Featuring a single 4-pin Brad Harrison connector and 360° cable orientation, the 3213M6 also operates at a high sensitivity (100 mV/g). Model 3213M6 is hermetically sealed and electrically isolated, making it an ideal unit for industrial monitoring applications. Additional applications include walk-about data collection and general purpose triaxial vibration measurements.
